Tuesday is over! Here are some pictures!
These cows were pulling a cart full of lettuce and tomatoes. All of the aunties came out and bought stuff from them.

This is Haven 2's reaction to the cart. They were all looking over the veranda edge and yelling the Tongan word for cow.

Deeta. She was my girl this morning. She came right up to me and lifted up her arms. We're making progress!

The kiddos using the swing. They stopped on their way to language class for a few pushes.
Ella and I. She is a HOT MESS! She is so happy all the time, but she is also a booger! :) She came and visited me for a quick photo sesh before making her way to language class.
Sorry, I have no pictures of the rest of the day. My camera battery has died, and is now charging. I was supposed to do individual therapy with Joelo today but he was at his PT appointment so I had Vera and Deacon. They are both on two different levels so we had a lot of singing and repeating today in therapy. It was a stressful situation. Today on the Veranda of Haven 1, Lindy Chelsey, Taylor and Jessica (myself) were in charge of the singing and reading of books. We are in charge all week so each day we bring a book and lead songs for a quarter of the time. It's a good arrangement. After lunch we had boondoos time and we played Red Rover and did Ring around the Rosey. Then of course I got my downtime with Aggie in the afternoon. It has started to be a time when we watch all of the younger babies at Haven 3, which is so fun but not as much Aggie relaxation time as I would like! At one time I was holding Evelynn, Aggie and Boyd. Triplets, it can be done! Stressful.. but doable! lol!
Alas! I have stolen Lindy Gale's camera... These pictures are the result of that theft! ;)
This is me on the veranda today during language class with Haven 1. I had baby Annie and a baby who I do not know the name of, both of whom fell asleep on me!

I love seeing all the pictures! Those children are precious. Isn't it so neat to see how much you can bond with children in such a short amount of time? I feel so close to several of my kiddos, and I can only imagine how you feel being with all the haven babies. Triplets- wow! Yes, things you did not think you can do are totally doable. I can do so much more than I thought I could with little ones! They need constant attention, and when you have three, that's a big task! But you make do and you get done what you have to. I hope you are enjoying your last little bit at the Haven. I really cannot wait to see you and the girls so soon!
ReplyDeleteI love this, Jess! The kids are so sweet and you look so happy. You also look like you are feeling better (I hope you are)! Girl, I am impressed with your triplet skills. This is quite the task! Even working with twins is very hard. I had a client today whose therapy plan was really similar to Vera and Deacon. Just a lot of singing and repetition. It can get frustrating at times when that is all you can do (especially for an hour session). But working with the little ones is so rewarding! Can't wait for you to be back! Loves you. :)
ReplyDeleteThese pictures are all so precious! I love reading about what ya'll have been doing! And I am impressed by your ability to juggle three at one time :) And I'm sure that having two kids in therapy who are on different levels was a challenge but I know you handled it well! Keep enjoying the limited time you have left...I can't believe ya'll are so close to being done!! Love on those babies for us!! :)
