touring firenze!

Today we toured Florence. We went from Scandicci to Florence on the tram. We then saw the Santa Maria Novella Train Station and church and went from there to the Duomo. At the Duomo we ate Gelatto and got to walk around for a bit. From there we walked to the top of a hill and looked at all of Florence and ate lunch there after singing in a church, which was fantastic! Then we went to the Ponte Vecchio bridge and then we had an hour and a half to do whatever we wanted so we went to the pig market, and of course touched the pigs snout for good luck and for a return trip to florence. and then we went to a book store, just to stay warm :) Then we headed back to Scandicci and went to a really excellent pizza place and then we decided to walk back to the bible school so that we could turn in early!

 It was so cold today but it was really fun! I'll post some pictures on here but most of them will be on facebook! :)
