The close of a semester
I have finished my second semester of my graduate career! A weight has been lifted off of my shoulder. I have been told that I am officially a "second year" but we'll wait to put that title on it until the fall rolls around, it just doesn't feel real right now.
There's a peace I've come to know
Though my heart and flesh may fail
There's an anchor for my soul
I can say "It is well"
Though my heart and flesh may fail
There's an anchor for my soul
I can say "It is well"

God has given me peace. Peace in this semester, Peace about graduate school in general and peace about traveling to Africa!
My bags are even more packed! I now have my international student ID, my pediatric dysphagia kit, and my tickets! I am so ready for this adventure! I sent out letters today to everyone that donated money to me and informed them of this blog so that they could keep up with it. There will also be a blog that we rotate and do as students informing everyone about the therapy that we are participating in. I will share that once I have the web address with you all! I am so excited for this opportunity to serve God and serve His people in Africa! Love you all! I am going to take this weekend and recuperate so my next post will probably be while I am traveling! Holla!
Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous works among all the peoples!
