The school days are drawing to a close
I am finally finishing up my second semester of grad school!! woohoo!! And as most of you know, I am about to head off to Zambia, Africa for a 6 week practicum. I will be leaving next Tuesday and will be gone until mid-June. It is crazy, and yet exciting all at the same time! As this semester draws to a close I am reflecting on the stuggles of this semester. It wasn't easy. But I am also reflecting on how much I have absorbed throughout the semester. So much has been taught to me and I have grown so much because of it. Throughout this semester I have made lasting friendships with the wonderful ladies in my cohort the "foxtrots" and have really come to love all of them. We are like a family. I know that God has blessed me with each of them for a reason, and that he put us all together to help us get through these two years. We are making it and are continuing to make it!
Now, while this is an exciting time to finish a semester it is hard to say goodbye to friends that are graduating. I am so glad to have made these lasting friendships here at Harding! It is crazy how many people have been in and out of my life since I started college. God has put each of these people in my life for a reason and they have influenced me in ways that I can't even explain. They have made me the person I am today. The girl who is kinda crazy, sorta out there, loves life, loves God, wants to serve God in everything and wants to be a better person each day. I know that God has shaped me and molded me through these encounters and I am so grateful!
I thank my God upon every remebrance of you
