My Monday :)
This is my baby Aggie that I finish the day with. She wasn't feeling well at the end of last week but she was feeling much much better! Here is her happy smiling face!

For "tea time" during boondoos usually all the kids get buscuits (cookies) but yesterday they all got popsicles. This is Beep-Beep who I have for individual sessions.

Tracey enjoying her popscicle. Usually she is not a happy camper and doesn't want to sit on anyones lap but for some reason yesterday she was tolerating me. :)

This is tracey, or tey-tey, taking a selfie as per usual! :)

This is Esther, one of the new babies at the Haven. She is 3 weeks old and I got to feed her a bottle! She is actually having some feeding issues so I got to do a partial feeding/swallowing evaluation during song time with this cutie. I tried to include my fingers so you could see how tiny she is! She doesn't weigh anything and most of what you are seeing is a bundle of blankets, not her. She has a twin, Lot.

This is during song time, I am holding Esther and then Kaite came and sat on my and then within a minute was asleep :) She is so cute!

This is me and the little baby Esther. I just loved getting to hold her. You can see katie in the distance, the one who fell asleep on me later.
Today was a super productive day, yet all the babies seemed to want to fall asleep on me. The first hour I had a baby named Boyd, and he was unusually fussy and he fell asleep in my arms. Then I went to individual therapy which was with Beep-Beep, not to fear she never falls asleep on me. She is full of so much energy! Then I went to the veranda of Haven 1, which is where Katie and Esther fell asleep. Then off to lunch. When we returned I went to boondoos time where we played duck duck goose, which was a hit although I am not for sure that the children understood what was actually going on. Then I went to my 45 minute session with Aggie which is always the perfect ending to my day! Overall I am really getting into the swing of things and therapy is going well! Oh I was going to put on pictures of the schedule for the next few weeks so you can see, and see our schedule for submitting our therapy hours. This weekend we are going to livingstone for the day and I am excited to scope out all of the shopping places!
LOVE LOVE LOVE this! Your pictures are fabulous, and they are great at helping me visualize what all you guys are doing :) I would absolutely love to hear more about Esther and what you are doing with her - especially doing a swallowing eval. I've seen a lot of that recently, so it would be so interesting to relate stories! What kind of feeding issues is she having? Like signs of distress, not taking her full bottle in general, etc.? I have realized that this population and aspect of being an SLP has completely intrigued me, so I'm somewhat obsessed with learning more about it at the moment :) Keep those precious pictures and stories coming - love you girl!
