Update from yesterday.. Lunar Rainbow Day!
6/13/14 @ 9:40am
Its Friday the thirteenth I just realized when I put the date down. Eeeeek!
Anyway, yesterday was such a good day! We went to the Haven in the morning and did our normal therapy schedule. Then we went back to our house and had an amazing Mexican lunch of enchiladas. After that we all boarded the bus (which got fixed in time! Hallelujah!) and set off for Livingstone. When we got here we went to our hotel, The Protea, which is the most amazing hotel! And I got to take a much needed, legit shower! Which puts me in such a good mood! Anyways, after we threw our stuff in our rooms we headed off to Olga's, which is a delicious Italian restaurant! I got a pesto pasta that was to die for! After Olga's proceeded to go to Victoria Falls. And while this might seem strange (because it was 8:00 at night and dark) it was not because there is this thing called the Lunar Rainbow. Basically once a month when the moon is full it is bright enough to make a rainbow, over the falls, at night. Pretty cool huh? It was so amazing, God is really awesome! I can not wait to go back when it is light out to see the falls!! I got some ok pictures but some people got awesome pictures and I will have to share one of their's later! Then we got back to our hotel whereI took that amazing shower that I told you about and went to bed in a full size bed. Paradise! In the morning we awoke to a free continental breakfast with everything you can imagine, I will name a few. Eggs, omelets, sausage, fruit, croissants, juice, biscuits, oatmeal, and much much more! This is paradise for people who have just eaten whatever we have been served for the past 5 week. I actually got a choice! And I stuffed my face. Not ashamed. Now we are packing up and getting ready to leave the hotel for another day of adventures. We are dropping bweave at the airport, she is going to Japan and picking up DCT, aka dr. tullos. The other things that we are doing today are questionable so I will blog again tonight to let you know. But do not fear shopping will be in there somewhere! I have purchased so many things... But hey, when are you going to be in Africa again??
